George Elbert Burr papers, 1914-1985 [manuscript].

Collection includes correspondence, manuscripts and articles on Burr, exhibit catalogs, pamphlets; most correspondence consists of letters Burr wrote to Cyrus Boutwell, a friend and colleague who managed a Denver (Colorado) art gallery that exhibited Burr's work. Correspondence sent to Boutwell provides insight into Burr's personal life, philosophy and views on his artwork. Publications on Burr and his artwork consist of articles and drafts by A. Reynolds Morse. Photographs include images of Burr working in his studio and scenic views, images and negatives of Burr's artwork.
